Netflix – Sex Education

We developed a Who’s Who featurette for Netflix’s Sex Education, creating a playful motion language to introduce the show’s characters, relationships and key narrative threads. Working closely with the client, we designed a series of animated elements that responded to the tone of the series while helping bring structure, personality and visual wit to the piece.

Drawing from the show’s existing visual cues, we created a set of hand-drawn illustrations, graphic interventions and animated details, all built within a consistent style framework. These elements were composited throughout the featurette and carried through to the branded title moments, including a hand-drawn Netflix logo treatment.

The result was a piece that felt irreverent, characterful and visually cohesive — a light-touch graphic layer that complemented the show’s humour without losing clarity or polish.
