Prawn On The Lawn – Web Design

FORMAT.LDN was commissioned to develop an online presence for Prawn on the Lawn, the acclaimed seafood restaurant and fishmonger.

The brief was deliberately open, giving us the space to explore a range of concepts built around the restaurant’s strongest asset: the food itself. Working with a beautiful set of photography, we developed a visual direction that placed the dishes, ingredients and atmosphere at the centre of the experience.

The final site used a clean, image-led design supported by subtle parallax movement, adding depth and pace without distracting from the photography. The result was a simple, elegant digital presence that reflected the quality of the restaurant and allowed the food to do the talking.
