Solero X Outernet – Bites of Sunshine

Commissioned by Flux Broadcast and Hot Pickle, FORMAT.LDN designed and produced the immersive visual content for Solero’s Bites of Sunshine activation, transforming Outernet London’s Now Trending space into a seamless, sun-soaked world spanning almost 250m² of wraparound LED screens.

Building on the initial creative direction, we created a fully immersive 180° beach environment that flowed continuously across the venue’s walls and ceiling. Photoreal live-action footage was composited with ultra-high-resolution skies, environmental effects and subtle atmospheric animation to create a convincing sense of depth and scale. Oversized 3D fruit and Solero products cascaded across the ceiling before spilling down the surrounding walls, while bespoke moments, including a hummingbird carrying a branded flag, added narrative, movement and personality throughout the experience.

Designing for Outernet demanded far more than conventional motion graphics. Every scene had to function as a single continuous environment across three architectural surfaces, with imagery aligning seamlessly between walls and ceiling while maintaining believable perspective from multiple viewing angles. Produced as an ultra-high-resolution 8K master, every asset was engineered to retain clarity across one of Europe’s largest immersive LED environments. From photoreal compositing and environmental animation to complex transitions and large-scale optimisation, every element was carefully crafted to perform at an architectural scale.

The result was a richly detailed, fully immersive brand experience that surrounded visitors with colour, movement and atmosphere, transforming a traditional campaign into a destination-scale installation where audiences stepped inside the world of Solero.
