Netflix – The Sandman

We were thrilled when Special Treats invited us to collaborate on a series of animations for a “first look” featurette of Netflix’s “The Sandman.” Our mission was to transform classic comic book pages into dynamic 3D animations, creating a parallax effect that brought these iconic images vividly to life. Each piece was meticulously crafted to not only enhance the narrative but also to capture the essence of the beloved comic series.

In addition to the main animations, we designed a series of lower thirds that integrated smoothly with the existing brand elements and assets. These additions brought a polished and cohesive feel to the featurette, ensuring a visually consistent experience for viewers.

This project was a fantastic opportunity to contribute to “The Sandman’s” first look featurette, and we take pride in our role in revitalising these iconic comic book pages with our animations and thoughtful design elements.
