BAFTA & BFI SCREENWRITERS’ LECTURE SERIES

We we’re commissioned by BAFTA to develop a motion background for the annual BAFTA & BFI Screenwriters’ Lecture Series.

Working closely with BAFTA we designed several concepts, which subtly animated on a loop throughout the event.  Taking inspiration from a cinema projector and the particles of dust visible in the light.  Several iterations of the dust were created. From a quite dramatic scene, to the final chosen concept which is one of the more subtle animations. When projected on the background set piece this is very dramatic and gives a classy and elegant feel to the whole event. The gold and black colouring is on brand and in keeping with the BAFTA master brand.
