YouTube Originals NYE – Hello 2021

We were thrilled to collaborate with Gramafilm on a monumental project for YouTube Originals. The Hello 2021 YouTube’s big night in event was a spectacular way to ring in the new year. With multiple assets, creative treatments, and deliverables, this project was a massive undertaking.

Our task was to bring a series of illustrated patterns and text elements to life. One of the biggest challenges we faced was rotoscoping out performances and talent, and seamlessly integrating the overall style and pattern elements into the content.

With meticulous attention to detail, we carefully removed the performances and talent from their original backgrounds, ensuring a clean and seamless transition. We then introduced the vibrant and captivating style of the illustrated patterns and text elements, creating a visually stunning experience.

The result was a mesmerising fusion of live performances and dynamic visuals, perfectly capturing the spirit of the Hello 2021 event. It was an incredible project to be a part of, and we are proud to have contributed to the success of YouTube’s big night in.
